I suppose it could be possible. But it has been quite a while since I
upgraded, and today I just did a reinstall of hardy.
Is it the default behavior for apport to re-report previous crashes that
were ignored?

Dialogs of FileZilla and VLC closed unexpectedly when they are not open
Update-notifier seems to be active. It's showing in my taskbar right
now, informing me there are 54 updates available.
In my /etc/group:
adm:x:4:accord,guest
lpadmin:x:108:accord
admin:x:110:accord,guest
Also I can use sudo under my primary account.

This is my apport.log combined from /var/log/apport.7.log.gz to
/var/log/apport.5.gz . There were no more earlier logs.
I believe I made the upgrade on Mar 27.

Under Hardy Heron Beta the situation is still the same.
I tested with two different XIM engines, gcin and scim-chewing. Both of
them were able to input Chinese characters in gedit. However, they are
somewhat different. When typing in gcin, a floating window (though

problem with virtualbox-ose occured, but I think is not relevant to this
bug. Near the end of the step 'Installing packages', a dialog pops up
and says FileZilla client
I also upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy beta, but I cannot confirm this. My
installation of VLC stands.

I had Ubuntu 7.10, also with a snapshot. When trying to upgrade to Ubuntu 8.04
beta, the same dialog came up telling me that snapshots will be lost. I'm not
certain whether I pressed OK or cancel, but update-manager returned the same
error as above:
virtualbox returned exit status 1
