As discussed in irc, there might be an issue with the way you're launching your

Since
`apt-file search swt-xulrunner-gtk-3555.so` properly returns:
libswt-gtk-3.5-jni: /usr/lib/jni/libswt-xulrunner-gtk-3555.so,
I'm thinking about you're not including /usr/lib/jni in the classpath.

Well, I strongly suggest to not change this behaviour as many open

could even sell your software so I don't see a problem with this window.

As I stated before the new azureus (from 4.2.0.8-1) uses java-wrappers for
detecting valid java runtimes (which currently are sun's 5, 6 and openjdk).
There's any issue with this behaviour, because I haven't been reported of any.
Since you're still using 3.* then you may realize that 4.2.0.8-1
posted before,
without messing with the code - there's no need to, now that upstream is
aware.
So my position here is to drop both patches and favor the workaround
until a fix is released, I hope you agree.
If there are any other questions, I'd be willing to answer.

Hello, just 3 points:
1. We don't support non-official packages such as that from getdeb.
2. The SWT updates are disabled since they break sync with the archives.
3. Official version 4.2.0.8-1 is available on the karmic archive.

Hello.
Since azureus 4.2.0.4-1 I've disabled *core* updates within azureus. I hope you
agree with my decision that the debian archive must have precedence over
individual updates, and we shouldn't let break sync with it.
There are still some minor plugins being updated since they not affect the
-download and install updates
So, again, this is not a new feature at all. I remember using it in past
versions of azureus (vuze) without having any problem. (e.g they were
not disabled)

Hello everybody.
The use of java-wrappers in the azureus launcher since version 4.2.0.4-1 has
solved most of the issues I've seen in this post. Azureus is reported to run
only on sun's or openjdk jvm, according to upstream devs.
That's why I don't use alternatives, but the launcher script
