I have just enabled proposed and upgraded to gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock
(63ubuntu1.18.10.2).
The issue seems to be solved, but I believe it will need more time for testing.
I cannot believe such a high-severity bug has been around since early
May, 2018, on both 18.04 LTS and 18.10. Shame
#10 "After disabling "dell" plugin, it doesn't blank out my screens any-
more." How did you do that?

The Create button gets dimmed when trying to create a new adhoc network that
is not using the default Wireless security option
I'm glad it's fixed, but still the problem is that this was marked as a
low-priority bug that has been there for more than 4 years, who decides
the importance of a bug? I guess if we need Ubuntu to be used by
everyone, more attention should be brought to bugs directly affecting
the end user

This is a very stupid bug the highly affects the user experience,

I've read both bugs and I don't see they are the same at all!! Who said
that they change their order on session start as in bug 44082 or that I
have dual screens and change between them as in bug 372398?? I'll change
it one last time to confirmed and you'll hold total responsibility for
this bug
So? Won't I be able to use this application in Jaunty?? Seems unlogical
to me not to be able to run an application on the already-available
Jaunty and I have to wait to install Karmic in order to run it?? Why was
a version produced for Jaunty from the beginning???

bluez-utils from debian sid as Ajo said and EVERYTHING WORKED LIKE A
CHARM! Now I can do everything using my Nokia e61; sending, receiving
and browsing work very well, thanks :)
