same effect with soft raid 5 + lvm2 (my /boot on USB flash drive, my /
on LVM2 over softraid5)
unable to boot and find / and lvm2 PV
not serious for production release and even LTS label.
NB. _same_ simple installation with 8.04 same way etc works OK, but
10.04

I have HP310 G5 (sata software raid in bios turned off)
im trying install ubuntu on softraid (mdadm) and as result I have 2 critical
bugs (regressions since 8.04)
i did dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdX bs=10M on both
3. after install I unable to boot due to some plymouth or some other
crap problems, cant detect why, but boot freezes.
Im ready to write simple video movie about this problem.

Pplz, any ideas about usability current FF ? I have 4 laptops with
installed 10.04 (snapshot 10-mar). all 4 laptops in use with 4 girls.
They are just simple surfing webpages and cry about stability.
hmm, binary compiled ff 3.0 from 8.04 works well, its only 3
packages..so its not a problem related to components I think.

reproducible crash, maybe javascript exploit, I do not know, you can
flag it correct, but now I'm failed with 10.04, for me firefox totally
unusable now. maybe this bug because flashplayer. maybe bad compiled
code. who know

1. now i did aptitude update aptitude full-upgrade aptitude purge
flashplugin-nonfree
2. i have checked that flash .so was removed and not exists any more in my
system
3. i did reboot my laptop
4. started firefox -g and cleared my personal data (cache, history,cookies) and
any ideas about this bug, huh? at this point i rate firefox too unstable
even for alpha, its unusable for me, and google chrome works well but
not ff... sadly but only one release was pretty stable it was 8.04, is
it possible to install firefox from 8.04 to 10.04 with any easy way?

2. installed firefox from hardy directly (just for test)
3.0.18+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1
3. now all works well and stable.

roflmao... just for test, i tried FF 3.0 from lucid repos! amazing, but
it crashes too well, and there is no debug symbols for 3.0 in the
repo... is it possbile to bad gcc code (compilator problem) ?
so, at this point, binary ff from hardy works stable, any other versions
