I can confirm the fix in hardy-proposed (at least it mostly fixes it).
Right after installing find / -gid 999 gives 112 locations. After installing
base-files from hardy-proposed (and rebooting) I am down to 4 locations:
/media/floppy0
/media/floppy
/dev/.static/dev/mapper

KPDF is replaced by Okular in KDE4 (intrepid), and as Kile is made for KDE3 it
doesn't integrate that well with KDE4. Hopefully a new version of Kile that
integrates well with KDE4 will be available for Jaunty.

This is how it should do. We have no guarantee that kdesvn-kio-plugins
are compatible with kdesdk-kio-plugins.
I can agree that it isn't the optimal solution; I've made a test package
in my PPA where kdesvn-kio-plugins provides kdesdk-kio-plugins:

When restarting X with ctrl+alt+backspace offlineimap looses it's
connection with a display and therefore generates an error. Offlineimap
always emits an error by controlled crashing with a meaningful exception
so this behaviour is correct. I'm therefore closing this bug report.

It sounds like the issue is unrelated to kicker-taskbar-compiz if it
happens in regular kicker as well.
I'd suggest reporting it as a seperate bug (don't know against which
package thou). I don't see that behaviour on kde 3.5.10; might be worth
testing it without using compiz before reporting the

Can you try experimenting with the settings, and see which gives a problem; and
post the settings (and values) from .kde/share/config/ktaskbarrc
If you change viewport/desktop does the closed programs then disappear?
