Has anyone come up with a workaround for the "ValueError: encryption key
or keyfile must be specified" bug? I'm trying to install Ubuntu Server
20.04.3 here, too, after manually creating a slightly tweaked LUKS
device, and the installer keeps failing. Perhaps an older point-release
of 20.04 still
I have the same issue, but the solution from justxux worked fine. Thank
you
edit the file /etc/pulse/default.pa
find the line load-module module-switch-on-port-available
insert a # at the beginning of the line to disable automatic port switching
save the file and reboot.

I believe I'm seeing the same thing on multiple machines with Zsh
v5.0.2. Very particular and tends to occur relatively consistently after
going up a line of history, moving around and modifying that line and
executing it. Characters then get duplicated or substituted.

For the sake of completeness, got this on my first try of suspend to
RAM, too, with a Gigabyte GA-X48-DS4 board, after resume with Wake-on-
LAN. On 14.04.3 LTS with Linux v3.13.0-77-generic.

Even though this seems to be fixed, I'm still seeing UUID= mountpoints
failing in Ubuntu 14.04.03 when that mountpoint is on a LVM logical
volume. Switch fstab to use /dev/mapper/a-b syntax, initramfs gets
generated with cryptsetup et al. included.

You received this bug notification because
I'm using two screens and I've found that usually this blocks on one
screen first, and if I move the mouse to the other screen, it's not
blocked on that screen. But if I move the mouse between the screens
again it blocks. Both screens will be blocked after I lock the screen
after the one screen
Public bug reported:
Sometimes when I lock the screen, I can't get in again. I have to press
Ctrl+Alt+F1 and kill X or reboot to get in again.
The problem is actually that I can't type in the password because the
text input field is no longer there. See attached picture.

Similiar setup in Lucid, 24 on the left, 19 secondary monitor on the

I've been unable to find this configuration entry in gconf and this is
annoying the hell out of
Running 64-bit Lucid on i5-750 - Qt creator becomes 'defunct' and stalls
for a while. Indexing the help doesn't really resolve this, as this
doesn't just happen the first time I run Qtcreator... also the second
time (don't know about the third, yet).

I realize that I'm just adding to the problem, but... Please conduct
these discussions somewhere else. There are a lot of people subscribed
to this thread, not because they want to discuss it, but probably
because they are waiting for a fix to be released.
So at a risk of being rude; please

I second this:
- It looks very similar to the 'new email' notification icon from mail-notify
- It's confusing and attracts attention to itself
Maybe it would be smart to develop some sort of task-bar icon
