Not, Wizard don't crash if you install openoffice.org package, it's
the workaround.
I didn't say openoffice-writer package and others, that crash our
wizards, I says openoffice.org package, try it.

Yes, there is a fix/workaround:
apt-get --purge remove of Open Office complete;
apt-get install openoffice.org (from Kubuntu's official repositories)

Yes, I've Ubuntu 7.04 up to date, and I'm still able to reproduce the
problem.
I go to File, Wizards, Install new dictionaries and Openoffice crashes,
I can't choose the dictionaries...
