I agree with Josh 110%.
Kernel bugs are fixed and pushed upstream by Canonical folks. Why not GTK
bugs / issues? How about security issues for that matter? Waiting 5 1/2
years for a security fix is pretty sad regardless of whos fault it is or

I just did a full wipe and reload (I loaded up 10.04). I am
experiencing the same issue. If I do a modprobe -r psmouse, this kills
the touchpad. I then gain the ability to use my usb mouse again.

I just dropped around 240 files into the drop box folder and the synch
started. For some reason, it got to 140 files and hasn't moved since.
I haven't changed anything or done anything to cause the synch to stop.

I closed and reopened the client and now It's continuing to update the
files. I think the connection got severed, however, I was never
notified of the loss of said connection.

I can no longer use the touchpad on my Asus EEE 1000HD pc. If I plug in
a usb mouse and use that, it works fine. However, if I click the left
mouse button on the touch pad, it kills the left mouse button on my usb
mouse and i have to do a full reboot.
