I don't want to spoil the party, but the 4.11 kernel André provided works (downloading large files-wise) far better than the 4.4 one Kai- Heng prepared on my Ubuntu Xenial laptop connected to a TB16 docking station. I can only hope I'm the only one though, so I'll be waiting for a stable 4.13
