Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: python-sepolgen
Through update-manager-d updating from Xubuntu 7.10 to 8.04, the
package python-sepolgen held several python-related packages. I've
found a dead symlink here:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 55 2007-08-20 05:48 __init__.py - /usr/share

Could it be the same problem as described in bug 157661 ?
I guess not. At least, error messages aren't the same and complain
about distinct files.

wouldn't wait the maintainer to fix it up if I could do that
workaround. Unfortunatelly slocate was stucking all updates that time.

usb camera list does not show up anymore in digikam
https://bugs.launchpad.net
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: powernowd
Since I installed Xubuntu 6.10 amd64, powernowd init script doesn't work
fine. I used always start it with a workaround using a silly bash
script. Now I had time to investigate why the right way doesn't work
(and never worked). So:
:. I
$ dpkg -s libgphoto2-2 | grep Ver
Version: 2.4.0-2ubuntu2
Problem was solved and now Kamera and digiKam can see the attached
devices again.
Thanks a lot.

digikam can't detect canon s2 IS anymore

You received this bug notification because you are a
-upgrade option -- I guess the update-manager when
handled uses the same. My workaround was very simple, using just
upgrade instead of dist-upgrade on command line.
Thanks for asking.
