Upgraded to Xubuntu 24.04 a few days ago, so got Thunderbird switched to

Can't say personally, I've switched to XFCE (Xubuntu) and don't use MATE

It affects me too and the bug appeared with Maverick. I used Metacity
compositor with previous versions of Ubuntu without such problem.
It looks like the screen isn't refreshed, leaving parts of the graphics.

crashes on my system when using ctrl + Z (it has happened a few times

This just happened to me (with Maverick final, not beta or RC). Shared a
folder and Nautilus crashed. It looks a lot like Nautilus crashing when
moving files through Samba (I opened a bug report about this) and might
be related to UbuntuOne IMHO.

Just bought a Sansa Clip+ (Sandisk) MP3 player and I get several errors
like this when transfering files in MTP mode from Rhythmbox. Is the bug

mini-keyboards) that don't have numpads, the user would have to turn it
off manually each time.
The best solution would be for Ubuntu to remember the state of Numlock

If I find enough time, I'll try to create a new user and make some
tests.

Public bug reported:
1) Ubuntu 10.04
2) Package name is in the above, I believe. I used Update Manager to get it.
3) I expected the normal install process.
4) It gave me the error message.
Thanks for the great service! I really appreciate how easy Ubuntu is to
use - I've been using it for about
