As a workaround, I can save the pdf files and then open them with
okular. But WHY do I have to do this in a roundabout way? It used to

If I select multiple images in the gwenview browser, and then right-
click, select Move (F8), I am unable to select a destination directory
for the move.
If it's possible to move a single picture, then moving multiple images

Installing the nvidia driver did the trick. It wasn't easy...it wanted
to create a userid and gid=122, which was already occupied by a
different group. I created them manually at uid=gid=152, and then I was
able to install, after getting rid of the --extragroups option to
useradd.

working frequently and the network-manager service needs to be
restarted. It will die on its own, but can be triggered by switching
wifi 3 times (sometimes more, sometimes fewer)!

When I select a package that needs updating, in this case,
gnome-control-center, and then click Get Changelog, a window pops up for the
changelog, but nothing is displayed inside the window. This happens for every
package that I select.

I think this is a network manager issue.
