I have also tried setting Thunderbird's settings for Files & Attachments to "Use /bin/okular". The pdf files are still not opened. As a workaround, I can save the pdf files and then open them with okular. But WHY do I have to do this in a roundabout way? It used to "just work" seamlessly! --
