Compiz broken on Karmic with NVIDIA driver and CPU without PAT support
I keep getting an error when dkms tries to apply the patch. The weird
thing is that I tried this in Ubuntu and it worked fine and now I'm just
trying it in Kubuntu. The error:

my netbook's internal speakers. When I plug in my headphones, I expect
all the audio to be routed to there, but nothing comes out. With my

aptitude, apt-get, manual dpkg, and gdebi (using aptitude download
filezilla to get the deb).

I did install via unetbootin (which was on a usb stick) because I didn't
have access to a ubuntu system with the usb-creator on it. Before when I
had Karmic, however, I did use usb-creator, but the same phenomenon
happened.

Well this is strange. Evolution now starts correctly (up to the setup
assistant at least, I didn't go any further than that) but I am not sure
what changed. There have been no evolution updates recently if I recall,
so maybe a reboot did it? I am uploading the valgrind log anyways as you

I can confirm this for an Eee pc 900ha with a AR242x chip. I also have
another issue -- sometimes NetworkManager fails to connect to my WEP
network, and keeps coming back to me and asking for a WEP password, even
though it is correct. This sounds like the ath5k driver is to blame, any
chance it is

If anybody has used simple-ccsm (or indeed, ccsm) they know that it is
quite awkward to try out all various effects. Putting a small preview in
the main window or even outside the main window with prerecorded video
would be enormously helpful
