indeed, i get a crash if i click on the following fonts: Bitstream Vera
Sans Mono, DejaVu Sans Mono, Inconsolata, MathJax_Vector-Bold, and
Terminus.
note that in the font chooser these font names appear to be rendered not
in their particular typeface but with the default system font so is

i tested it after installing libgtk-3-0 libgtk-3-common from proposed. i
can confirm that the gnome-terminal settings custom font now shows only
"ubuntu mono" when "ubuntu" is typed into the search box and therefore
solves the issue.
nevertheless, note that this is still different than what we

after some more digging the problems might be related to the fact that
the disk partition table was left in the hybrid GPT/MBR format and thus
the mac is booting in the efi mode. according to

when opening a gtk print dialog (evince, firefox etc), the list of
printers is jumping up and down when many printers are listed. i am not
sure if this is related to cups reporting different number of printers
each time asked or is this some kind of a list sorting problem in

okular, firefox etc) do not display any printer properties and do not

the key made with the startup disk creator does not work, even on old
hardware. nevertheless, simply copying the whole iso image on a key
works.

just an annoyance: imagine you want to delete an email from all the
address books. you click on the top item "All Address Books" and then
enter the email into the search box. let's assume the search shows you
several hits which all appear in the window below the search box.

of arrows which most of them seem to be the same arrow types, only in
color variations. it would be also helpful to add a tooltip since the
