Again. After the restart, Nautilus, Thunderbird, Firefox, Gedit were
left open. I did a try at Klondike. Again a general freeze without
loosing the image of the screen and with pointer (hand) still moving,
but nothing else working. Had to reset.

The problem is bluez 4, not the whole of Intrepid. There is indeed a
workaround other than using Hardy: using bluez 3 under Intrepid. This is

motherboard I noticed a nearly 15 °C increase in processor
No improvement with bluez 4.17
I added deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/blueman/ubuntu intrepid main to my
repositories and installed blueman. This seems to force the uninstallation of
the buggy bluez 4 packages and install some bluez 3 packages instead.
I had had error messages about obex. I
