Do we still need this change? I guess it was added because some binary
in the past shipped the .pm.stub file, so this was needed. Is that
correct? If so, I guess it's not needed anymore, as Hardy has the fix,
so people upgrading from Hardy (the only supported upgrade path) will be

you didn't mentioned any of those changes in your changelog entry. Can
