The debian change is indeed present in lucid. The wireshark-common
postinst script is now capable of running these commands:

remember my View settings, but since the upgrade, it insists on opening
new documents with Fit Page Width and Continuous modes enabled. I

Note:
When I tested my patched xfce4-session, I had already disabled the
gnome-keyring-daemon autostart .desktop files that were inherited from
GNOME. These will launch the daemon, but they won't capture the
environment variables (and therefore should probably not be enabled for
Xfce sessions).
Since it took me quite a while to unravel the order in which xubuntu
session startup scripts are executed, I think I'll write it down here.

/etc/fancontrol configuration, without which the fancontrol daemon will
not start. pwmconfig was helpful in generating a config file, and with

Looks like the problem is gone, or at least far less frequently-
occurring than it was. I was just running Lucid beta 2 for a couple of
hours and didn't see the DMADONE message at all.
