Application Settings' menu item when middle clicking on the firefox
titlebar. In that window, I 'Force' the 'Desktop' to my 'Web' desktop.

While investigating bug #208273, I tried another upgrade but discover
that I didn't change the environment settting like I hoped I had. I
closed the window and got a dialog saying 'Annuler la mise à jour en
cours?' which means 'Cancel the upgrade?'
To work around this, I tried running with LANG=C LC_ALL=C, but it didn't
change anything. For weird reasons, the UI spawned by 'Version Upgrade'
still appears in French.

expired after two weeks if nobody post to it. That would also clean the
Open questions lists. But since in that particular case, the questions
would be an Expired answered question, it would still be useful to allow

posting a comment on the question.
For example, just post an answer on any of these Open questions and it will be
removed from your Need attention report (since they will move to the Answered
state.)

I have the same problem here. An 'Error' dialog popped out and that
dialog has an 'Report Bug' button. Clicking on it, show the bouncing
Konqueror icon, but nothing happens. I also have configured text/html
page to open in firefox. This works fine when clicking on links in

After upgrading to Feisty, I tried hibernation on my Dell Inspiron 640m.
(On Dapper, sound and network weren't functioning properly after
resuming, and in Edgy it just never completed the hibernation procedure)

Holding the shift key bypassed the graphical bootloader and the
installer worked correctly after that.
Note that for some reason the screen resolution was not set correctly
and the installation progressed in 640x480. After the installation
completed, I was able to have all the resolutions
Graphical bootloader doesn't like that particular card.

I tried installing Dapper on a PIII with a 3DLabs Oxygen VX1 video card.
With both the LiveCD and Alternate installer, I get the same result. Two
lines are printed and then the screen turns black and everything stops.
Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't even
I don't undestand how this doesn't fit the second criteria Bugs which
represent severe regressions from the previous release of Ubuntu.
The previous package in Dapper worked and a subsequent upgrade broke
printing. (I am reporter of bug 57706 which was marked a duplicate of
this one)
