Looks like dh-make-php is using older cdbs build system/scripts. Would
be nice to update it to support dh7 and pkg-php-tools instead.

all errors to /var/log/apache2/php_err.log. I have created that file
chown root.adm and chmod 666.

I got it to work. Had to change the permissions on /var/log/apache2 to
be 755.
