Following the instructions and using their script from here: http://www.jamesonwilliams.com/hardy-r8168, I managed to change the driver to r8168, it seems ok now. Moreover, it doubled the speed. With the r8169 driver it was around 9-10,000 kbytes/sec max., now it is continuously more than 20,000
