[Bug 655831] Re: update-apt-xapian-index bogs down system

2013-04-20 Thread Gergely Csépány
Just an idea: the case and environment Hontvári József Levente (hontvari) mentioned on 2013-04-13 should be easy to recreate, and could be used to track down the problem with this indexer. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to

[Bug 371002] Re: Brasero reports incorrect drive speed

2013-04-20 Thread Gergely Csépány
I don't have an optical drive any more, maybe others have also got rid of them too, and there's no one left to trace down this bug. :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371002 Title:

It still persists. Just tried it with the updated Acrobat Reader (9.5.4) from the package acroread 9.5.4-1precise1. ** Changed in: acroread (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.

[Bug 1125413] Re: LTS xserver backport packages want to remove xorg xserver

2013-02-16 Thread Gergely Csépány
The main problem for me is that lots of packages depend on some packages that need to be removed for the upgrade. There the upgrade would delete wine, acroread, steam, nvidia-current, etc. lots of essential (for me at least) packages. I believe that it is due to some wrong dependencies, since eg.

[Bug 599850] Re: Blueproximity has a brutal memory leak

2013-01-20 Thread Gergely Csépány
I have been using blueproximity again since October and have never noticed any memory leak. It might have been fixed in the tools used by blueproximity, so I set this bug to Invalid. ** Changed in: blueproximity (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Invalid ** Changed in: blueproximity

[Bug 599850] Re: Blueproximity has a brutal memory leak

2012-10-05 Thread Gergely Csépány
I installed it again as I recently moved to a new workplace where I could really make use of it. I had my old config in my home, so it was easy to get it up and running. :) I will monitor the memory usage of blueproximity and report if I see it raising wildly. -- You received this bug

[Bug 629153] Re: wmf2XXX tools fail due to defoma font issue

2012-08-05 Thread Gergely Csépány
I think the solution would be to have a libwmf version which does not depend on defoma files. However, as I saw on the page of libwmf (which is part of wvWare, see http://sourceforge.net/projects/wvware/), it has not been in development since 2005. I doubt that they would release a new version

It needs fixing, I never said that it's unnecessary. I just concluded that I can currently work around this bug on my system, but I'll have problems doing so when I upgrade Ubuntu. Is this an Ubuntu or Debian specific bug, or does it come from upstream? -- You received this bug notification

[Bug 894314] Re: oneconf takes up half of the memory

2012-04-22 Thread Gergely Csépány
I did the same, just deleted the oneconf service from synaptics, since I never used either oneconf or software-center. I'm sure the memory leak could be tracked down, but I had no interest in doing that. Welcome back, my memory! :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member
