I have this issue since upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10 from 9.04 The device causing it is a Rockey HID dongle. The effect on the server is that MYSQL queries / apache hits take a long time to respond during the USB reset phase. -- keyboard+mouse unusable, low speed USB device reset continiously

Public bug reported: There is a sequence of events that can cause the Ubiquity installer in Hardy Herron (8.04) to loop at step 4, the partitioning step. Steps to reproduce are: 1) Run the installer, click Forward until you get to Step 5, Who are you? 2) Enter all data correctly except for the
