My Samsung N150 works perfectly with Ubuntu (installed 10.04 and upgraded to
10.10 by modifying sources.list). I installed the Desktop x64 edition off
of a USB flash drive and once installed; the wireless card started working
immediately, and I was able to connect to my wireless network

Other programs seem to access the WLAN right away without a problem. I
also thought that Ubuntu One continuously checks for an available
connection. If I was previously connected and lost my WLAN signal, it
re-connects as soon as the connection is re-established.

The XServer seems to have something to do with this problem. As soon as
I shut down the X Server, I can get audio again. It also is fixed if I
move to a terminal (CTRL+F1,F2,etc) from the graphical interface.

Unfortunately; I was unable to reproduce the problem using valgrind.
This is also an intermittent problem and gconftool-2 is not the only
program that crashes after resuming (see the other most recent bug
reports that I posted). More details below:
I downloaded and installed the large program
OK. I found the command line was conveniently placed in my bug report
automatically; although the program still only runs for about a second
so I am not sure how to capture the error that occurs.

Sorry about frequent status changes. I clicked on the add comment button
and it changed it; I tried changing it back to incomplete and it set it
to confirmed. My browser seemed to be having problems with the AJAX
support on this website.

usb-creator-kde hangs at 61 percent
If I do not set aside space for the persistent storage; or if I set aside less
space than 4GB, the install will succeed. Here is the output from dpkg:

I am using Kubuntu version 9.10 and am having difficulty making a USB
startup disk. Every time I try to create a startup disk; the process
hangs at 61 percent (Creating a persistence file) and does not
continue.
