I'm not sure why but a workaround is to run:
sudo rmmod psmouse && sudo modprobe psmouse proto=imps
Then the touchpad gets recognized as:

my 3G devices including the F3507g. I do however see that it was detected and
initialized by the kernel:

With an updated Jaunty this is kinda working for me now. Sometimes the
device doesn't show up (no /dev/ttyUSB*). But when it does show up it
usually takes a few tries for it to connect (my PCMCIA 3G card always
connects first try). So this is not perfect yet, but improving!

I have linux-firmware 1.5 on Jaunty and I am still getting frequent

Yes. My machine (Jaunty updated 30 minutes ago) locks up a few minutes

then I can use it for days without lockup. So this is certainly a

I just started getting hit by possibly this bug. I have an Intel 5100
AGN. Only when I am using that device do I get kernel panics. It
always happens when I put the network under high load. This is
happening on intrepid and jaunty (with proposed enabled). I've had to

This is happening on my Lenovo W500. After some time (potentially heat
related) the cpufreq drops to 800 Mhz and just gets stuck there.
Changing the frequency and the governor have no effect.

I'd also like to confirm this bug in hardy. The connection via ppp can
be made correctly but networkmanager doesn't seem to know that. This
means that I can't connect to a VPN in nm-applet and that other
applications like liferea, evolution, etc that use networkmanager to
know connection status,
hdaps is not working for me either on feisty. The module loads fine,
but I do not see any movement being tracked.
