on an external monitor connected trough D-sub cable. The mouse
2.6.35-20.29 kernel from Ubuntu Kernel PPA (or Maverick daily live CD)
fixes suspend/resume for me, but breaks configuring monitors with xrandr
or gnome-display-properties. After applying changes display flickers and
only the pointer is visible. External LCD display reports out-of-range
error.
Maverick amd64 Beta; libpng3 1.2.44-1 creates a symlink libpng.so.3 -
libpng12.so.0 in /usr/lib, expecting it to find there. That link is now
broken because of missing target, resulting in 3rd party apps as Phun
complaining about missing libpng.so.3 (which is not phun at all).
The question is
It's Intel Ironlake/Arrandale graphics. This bug must be the same as
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=597141 , but apparently
Fedora guys found a fix for in their 2.6.34.2-32.rc1.fc13 kernel.

Seems like I have finally solved this issue by using the -*-clean-
medium-r-*-*-6-*-*-*-*-*-*-* x11 font. Good readability, and it can't
any smaller.

Shame on me that I don't know how to create a patch, so I'm posting the
whole script.
