Simple scan is very very slow in Saucy. Not only it crashes on every
exit effort but also takes ages once you try to crop any image. the
start-up time is very slow. This is one of the most useful utility and
current state is truly annoying.

Crash happened after todays Kernel update. One good thing I could notice
that, unlike previous instances when nvidia used to be broken and I had
to install header-generic followed by uninstall and reinstall nvidia
driver, this time it got fixed :) but this crash happened.

Since upgrade to 12.10 I have noticed that everytime update grub2 has
been executed it takes more than 30 mins. It is very annoying. Please
let me know how can I provide more details about the program problem.
