both on my laptop and desktop. the desktop has compiz running on an

The packages in you ppa, you mean? Those are not installable (both
depend on xserver-xorg-core and try to remove it). I think because
xserver-xorg-core is versioned 2:1.3.0*.0* in gutsy while in hardy it's
2:1.4.1*~2007...* and radeonhd seems to think 1.3.0.0 is bigger than
1.1.4~2007... or so

about the ppa: that's a bug in lauchpad then. when I first get to the
page it displays hardy, but when activating gutsy in the selection-
thingy, it becomes gutsy (and the same for feisty)
about the hardy packages: I've built from git for now, not tested if it
works yet. but packages for hardy

I'm trying the radeonhd driver on hardy x64 on an asus m2a-vm hdmi mobo.
this board has a RS690 chip with integrated radeon x1250 gpu.
when loading the xserver, radeonhd segfaults. the log is attached.

I'm seeing the same thing on gutsy. gnome-system-monitor shows 3.2GB of
ram, while I have 4GB installed. I have the latest bios available and it
has no option to turn on a memory gap. this is on an asus m2a-vm hdmi
(http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3l2=101l3=496l4=0model=1585modelmenu=1)
