Currently the folders used by Ubuntu One can't be changed. However, you
can fix this problem:
[1] Stop the Ubuntu One client
[2] Copy the Shared With Me folder somewhere outside of ~/Ubuntu One
[3] Delete ~/Ubuntu One/Shared With Me
[4] In a terminal, go to ~/Ubuntu One
[5] In the terminal enter

I was able to install Hardy with same configuration by disconnecting one
of the monitors. However, ~50% of the times it boots, the NVIDIA spash
screen comes up distorted and when the login screen eventually comes up
(which isn't always) it is locked up.
