I wanted to test the new game mode in Ubuntu 20.04, and noticed that
only the AMD Raven actually works. To do the test, I tried launching a
terminal and running gxgears, both in a normal way, and then

"additional drivers".

Paul, the "Stop & Quit" action is certainly a plus, but it doesn't solve
this precise bug report, as there still is a case where "Rhythmbox stays
running in the background after quit" (if you just close the window).
I'm not the one to decide whether or not this is the desired behaviour,

The problem is that, in gnome-shell, if you close Rhythmbox while music
is playing, Rhythmbox's icon simply disappears. So, there is no way to
reach this "Stop & Quit" quickmenu option. Unless I'm missing something,

Yes, downgrading to nvidia drivers 304.137 does work. However, I have some
other issues (tearing in videos) with drivers 304.137.
The alternative is to keep nvidia drivers 340, and to downgrade the
kernel to 4.4.0-109: nvidia drivers 340 work fine with kernel 4.4.0-109.

With the patch for Spectre and Meltdown flaws, the default kernel in
16.04 has to be upgraded from 4.10.0-42 to 4.13.0-26. But nvidia-340
340.104 drivers do not work with kernel 4.13.0-26. And newer nvidia

Just to add my 2 cents, I'm still suprise that Firefox package doesn't
add a depend on pulseaudio with this version. By adding pulseaudio to
the seed, we make the impression that we want pulseaudio on Lubuntu for
Xenial. We don't. We need to add it because Firefox is broken without
it.

Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular
problem? => I occasionnally get random (?) kernel panic since several month but
it is the fist time it was followed with this bug
I pushed the changes to the seed branch. It will be included next time
we update the metapackage.

Hi everyone ! Same issue here with my HP Envy 13 kaby lake running with
a single Mint boot. Codec Realtek ALC295 too. If I plug my headphones on

Upon install, the service should start.
It appears that the postinst script is not registering any service, so nothing
can be started.
I finally had to use the package made by the intitial dev at
https://github.com/brutasse/graphite-api/releases
