As Prism is still in a beta stage, it is a bit inconvenient to fiddle
with that sort of thing, but in the meantime you can just browse to the
location of the Prism gmail app (wherever your Prism install landed,
followed by /webapps/gm...@prism.app, for example) and remove the
webapp.js file, which

Also, in re: the this might take a while, but will eventually
succeed... That was the case at first, but now it seems to be
completely random as to whether it eventually prompts for a password.

Also, sudo never hangs when I use failsafe terminal as my session.
When I first encountered this issue, I had looked at that bug, because
sudo was saying it couldn't find my host. After adding that hostname to
the /etc/hosts file, everything went fine. I'm not sure that these bugs
are related.
I am having a similar problem.
Shutdown/restart do not work. They run through the shutdown process and
get to Will now HALT or Will now restart, and then just sit there.

It is my opinion that the Quickcam Messenger and IM/Connect use the same
device drivers, and are therefore interchangeable.
Anyway, I recompiled the kernel modules with the official ALSA patch,
