I am running LinuxMint 9 (a Lucid derivative) on amd64. THis is a recent

I have noticed that his happens when Firefox and OpenOffice.org are
running simultaneously. If I exit FF and redraw the OO screen (e.g. by
minimizing and maximizing my window) the problem goes away. if I do the
same thing while FF is running, there is no change.

Since I updated my system to Lucid, I can't reboot (or shutdown) my
machine from GNOME. I have to access a terminal and run sudo shutdown
or whatever.

I would like to point out that a few weeks ago, I was given an HP dv6xxx
loaner while my laptop was being repaired. That laptop had managed to
read xD and Sony Duo cards to my great surprise, actually. I thought it

Let me add my comments:
- I see the same as the original poster
- Sometimes, I will click on the arrow of an account and it opens and
closes correctly. But what I have seen is that sometimes I will click to
open an account, then if I click on a different account, it closes the
first one.
OK here is the recording. You will notice that the mouse pointer
sometimes stay in the same general area but nothing happens. That's
because I'm clicking like a madman trying to get something to happen.
In the bottom part of the screen, I notice that if I let tooltips show

I am using Karmic. When I click on a URL, nothing happens. I have to
right-click on it and select Open in browser. I would like it to do
this automatically when I click on a link.

Just updated to Karmic (final) this morning and I am seeing the same

Is there a way to test php-mysql to determine where the problem lies?
I am using php5 5.2.10, php5-mysql 5.2.10.
I had libmysqlclientoff 5.1.30 but removed it and now only have
libmysqlclient16 5.1.37.

I just completed an upgrade from Jaunty to Karmic. I can no longer start
Evolution. Whenever I do, it just crashes. It starts to display stuff
and then, after a few seconds, dies before I have time to do anything.
