I've also got problem with MySQL on EMT64, I've reported it as #76858
Also the mentioned test program generates on SIGILL on that machine, but not on
AMD64. I think it's a fatal bug, since it renders edgy server unusable on

No special boot parameters was given. It should be vesa framebuffer, at
least vesafb kernel module is loaded according to lsmod. Please note
that there was no problem at all till upgrading 6.10 not with dapper

(dmesg), and before launched gdm but after having console login, I can
log in and check output of top: usplash is running but uses all

Btw, as I've said it's Ubuntu Dapper 6.06, AMD64 and not edgy. I've just
tried to gdb gedit when opening file from a virtual screen created by

This bug seems to be 100% reproducable for me and quite dangerous.
Open URL http://test.kernel.org/functional/elm3b6_1.html in epiphany and try to
click on links, the first console.log link cause to crash my whole X (gnome)

Version is 2.8.18-0ubuntu1
I don't know it is changes something or not, but I'm using clearlooks
theme on all of the machines I've tried (and succeeded) reproducing this
bug.

I've seen this behaviour on additional two machnies, both of them are
fresh dapper, one is i686, one is AMD64. Confirmed apps: Galeon, Gedit,
Epiphany.
