I upgraded with the eoan Kodi ppa active, so my kodi package was still eoan
branch.
By manually "downgrading" to the focal version, I was able to install
kodi-pvr-vdr-vnsi again.

I found a workaround to get maximum brightness back:
sudo setpci -s 00:02.0 f4.b=ff
It resets the maximum brightness to maximum.
If it does not work for you, try another PCI device (find the adress with
lspci), like
sudo setpci
Adding ohci to the DRIVERS line works on my Lenovo S12.

Sorry for the late reply, I had to install the rt61pci card again.
It seems the problems are gone. I get good and stable speed.

Choosing 'UsePAM yes' shows the Motd.
But: I don't want to allow logins using a simple password, but want to make
sure the exchange of keys is used.
Can you (or anybody else) confirm that every user _has_ to have the key?

I know it worked until Lucid Beta-2.
In Ubuntu 9.10 it's working fine too.
And it works when I use another end point. I have two routers, both
Linksys models. One is capable of 1 Gb/s (WRT610N), the other 100 Mb/s
(WRT160NL). Just the one with the 100 Mb/s link fails, on the other
autonegotiation
I have the very same problem.
Running u1sdtool -c has no effect, it seems to be a bug within ubuntu one...
Here is the output of rhythmbox started from a terminal:

It actually did work in Lucid too, but was broken by some upgraded packages.
Not being able to tell you more - because of lack of knowledge - makes me sad.
