I have a laptop with Kubuntu 12.04. I do not have lo-menubar installed
and LibreOffice and Chromium works fine, however...
If plasma-widget-menubar is in use and I put the laptop to sleep, then on
resume from sleep plasma-desktop crashes.
Luckily, it restarts and I don't have to reboot.
I reupgraded to pm-utils 1.4.1-9.

content:
SUSPEND_MODULES=nouveau
since my laptop has a hybrid onboard-Intel/discrete-nVidia graphics card and I
had problems before.
I'm using the intel i915 driver and I had the
I downgraded pm-utils to 1.4.1-8ubuntu1 (Oneiric version) but the
problem persists (i.e. resuming from suspend does not work) with both
kernels 3.2.0-24 and 3.0.0-19.

I experience a similar problem after upgrading from Kubuntu 11.10 to 12.04
(pm-utils 1.4.1-8 --I guess-- to 1.4.1-9).
System does go to sleep mode.
When wakeup is triggered, I can see the password prompt but it hangs after a
couple of seconds. Hard reboot required.
I disabled the password prompt

I think there might be a memory leak in Firefox 7.0.1.
Memory usage with 5 tabs opened: 697916(mem) 37376(shared mem)
I even reached 1GB of memory usage a few days ago.
Firefox 6 used to have this memory leak problem too in my machine, and I didn't
experience an improvement
