I agree that this is a really annoying bug (whether it is compiz or remmina). An easy workaround is to disable horizontal additional workspaces, e.g. with the myunity package (under Desktop set H Desktop to minimum). Then, compiz is unable to move your remmina windows around in annoying ways.
