Public bug reported:
libPGF contains an implementation of the Progressive Graphics File (PGF,
http://www.libpgf.org/). which is a new image file format, that is based
on a discrete, fast wavelet transform with progressive coding features.
PGF can be used for lossless and lossy compression.
@Omer I think it's perfectly valid approach. The Startup Applications is
supposed to be a central place to control those, so there is no need to
scatter this functionality in the programs. The latter would be a
Windows-like way, but on Linux, flexibility is the goal.
However, this should be

I'm observing the same problem.
First, I did:

Public bug reported:
The purpose of this report is to forward an important fix to JasPer library

The fix is an important one to GIS users and developers based on Ubuntu 9.10
distribution. It looks like the current development version of Ubuntu
I'm not really able to provide any more information than what's given in
the Debian's report.
1. Statement explaining the impact: no idea, besides that JasPer UUID
handling is buggy in current Ubuntu 9.10, so impact may be significant
to those who rely on JasPer library (i.e. GDAL tools set).

Hi,
I just want to confirm that under Ubuntu 9.04 (re)installation of the
*-unstripped-* codecs and libmlt++ as well as reconfiguration of
kdenlive works - all codecs are enabled and available to use for
rendering.
Thanks for the tips and packages!
