Using the repositories on linux.dell.com, apt-get seems to believe the
version of system-bios-* packages available in the repository are newer
than the package
Note this is seen with 0.7.6ubuntu14, and is reported by several Dell
customers who have tried using the firmware repository. We have
packages posted for feisty, gutsy, and hardy right now, so I don' t know
which versions each of those customers is running. I'm running hardy
myself.

I meant to include a note about the the debianizer Sadhana B. She was a
Dell intern, no longer with Dell, so I don't really want her name and
invalid email address in the package. Hence I used firmware-tools team

Fedora hwdata package is used as the basis of the Ubuntu hwdata package,
