The path comes from the one reported by NetworkManager as it starts and detects
the wireless device. It should be similar, based within /sys/devices, and end
with the name of your wireless interface. Going back one directory from 'net'
you may find ieee80211/phy0/rfkill0/state there. I

it's likely exactly why Olivier was suggesting to not use a socket

AFAIK, the DNS resolver would have continued on to the next DNS server,
*unless* the first answered with NXDOMAIN, which is likely the case when

This might be an issue with pppd itself, where the DBUS interface for NM
doesn't get initialized, as per the recurring message in syslog...
Assigning to pppd too, until we know for sure.
