I put EB4 onto my eeePC901 months ago and haven't looked back, my needs
are just FireFox over WLAN and it works great. Haven't tried Aurora.

I originally opened a different bug which got linked to this one. I've
tried all the ideas here with little success. Like couzin2000 I ended
up with an array.org kernel which seems to work OK for me on most normal
wireless networks - however it steadfastly fails to operate on a hidden-
SSID,

I still have the issue connecting to WPA/WPA2-Enterprise.
It gets the first green dot, then it sits for 30 seconds or so trying to
connect and eventually comes back with a dialog saying Authentication

Yes, it looks to be a dupe - thanks.
I've applied the fix from
http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1110957.html (downgrading
the RT2860 driver to version 1.7.1.1) and now I have WPA2-Enterprise
(AES)
