The bug is not fixed in 340.24.
With 14.04.1 desktop 64b and this nvidia driver version the issue is
still there. I checked the "Force full screen redraws (buffer swap) on
repaint" option in compiz and this works for me.

package?
It deinstall libsdl1.2debian-alsa but it's ok.

properties is US and I've to change it manually.
