I tried to clean up and install emacs-gtk install, using the following
script:

I have the same problem with totem. Therefore, I imitated the procedure
to generate a dump. Hope it helps:

Today I downloaded and installed idutch-1:1.00-2 and this solved the problem.
Maybe a solution would be to make this package available for Hardy as a
backport.
