I got the same problem with my USB device ASUS My Cinema U3000 Mini
DVBT Tuner.
I have dvbstream, dvbtune, and dvb-utils installed.

There are 2 more hotkeys that's not setup on the Zepto Znote 3215W. They
are placed to the left of the keyboard next to the tab key. They are
placed vertically.
The first one has a symbol with a S and a power connector at the bottom. dmesg

I have the same problem (HDA Intel ICH8, on a Zepto/Compal 3215W running
the latest Hardy). Any application that try to access after Standby has
no sound.
