Ok... found a workaround for my system:
- Close evolution
- killall e-addressbook-factory
- /usr/lib/evolution/e-addressbook--factory
- Start up evolution again.
...and all ubuntuone addressses will be there until the next reboot.

Had to recover my tomboy again from this bug - which I triggered by
making my couchdb reauthenticate at the ubuntu one server by the
standard method from freedesktop.org. Hoped it would repair contact
sync. But at least found a way to recover tomboy that is relatively
easy:

Am using natty. (normal ubuntu) and I don't think unity does any good.
So I am using compiz with loads of effects enabled and the ordinary
gnome-panel.
The network manager applet seems to crash a few seconds after the crash has
been triggered. But this time I updated my system it seems like the

How to reproduce the problem:
- Connect to a network that doesn't provide a http://wpad/wpad.dat file with
proxy settings
- Go to Edit/preferences/Advanced/Connection settings and turn on automatic
proxy detection
From now on Firefox 4 tries

Found out that both memory sticks I had refuse to work at all if I
format them with a FAT filesystem (without encryption, of course) if I
try to use them with a Windows or a SunOs engine. Bought new ones and
they are automounted correctly = this Bug report can be closed.

boot-time by ubiquity.

- I boot my computer with an encrypted memory stick attached. According to
lsusb the memory stick has been recognized but unlike an unencrypted media it
is not mounted
- I remove the stick and attach it to the USB port another time. It is
instantly
Interestingly enough if run as a filter without opening its gui (like
inkscape --export-eps=something.eps filename.svg) inkscape seems to be
still as fast as it used to be.
