hibernate. Switching back to lightdm (outdated and poorly adapted to
hidpi) and everything works.

Do a mkdir -p /var/lib/libvirt/qemu/channel/target/ - that should fix
it. It should have been created on install, but wasn't, and I guess the
package update doesn't create the directory. You might also make sure
that owner and group are set correctly, here they are libvirt-qemu and

without having to accept the Windows 8 license, and my progress is

Seems Marius is right. I'm Norwegian too and this occurs on Synaptic
0.75.9ubuntu1 in Linux Mint 13 as well. Using sudo LANG=en_EN.utf8
synaptic works but is not very practical since the Package Manager entry

I think that if no one else is still having these problems I think we
should assume that it's fixed somehow, and close the bug. This bug was
nerv vrecki'n when it occured but it does not happen any longer.

this new backtrace, however it doesn't happen...
Before it would occur by itself like once every couple of days, but it
does not happen anymore. I have no idea why.
