Recently I have come to use Whonix 15.0.0.7.1 as guest OS running in a VM under
KVM, while the host OS I am running is Ubuntu 18.04.3. Problem is the slow
shutdown of Whonix which most of times takes about 2 minutes. There is a
problem report regarding this issue on Whonix
Yes, it happens in evince, and some others. Funny thing is that chrome
seems immune, except for viewing pdf applications, and they end up in
the upper left hand corner of chrome, but the whole chrome window is
there. You just can't scroll them back to the center of the window.

The screenshot was not done perfectly, and it is a tad difficult to get
it that way, because it is uncertain how much of the window title bar to
include. The dimensions I get are 764x436 on the inset part. (See

This happens with a number of different programs, so I suspect it is a
window manager bug. The best way to describe it is with a screen shot.
The only responsive part of the screen is the small window in the upper
left. You can hit the little maximize box and it goes back

This was being tested on a HP DL380g8, which does not have UEFI, only
BIOS.
There was no way that I could figure out to actually raid the root using
the Live Installer. It was trivial and worked as expected using the
normal Server installer.

In the GUI editor tab, the first five toolbar icons (New, Open, Save,
Save As, and Print) are all the same icon (a page with the letter A in
the upper right corner). It is hard to remember which is which.

I don't know if the order matters, but I first did the upgrade to

My question is similar, but I'm simply trying to use VirtualBox 6.04 (on
a Win7 host) and install the Guest Additions package they provide with
that build into my Linux Guest. This worked fine until a recent Linux
Ubuntu update added kernel headers 4.0.4-143, then VBox Guest Additions
failed to
I use unified and would like to see this implemented; so I can leave my
unified trash and junk folders 'closed' and still get rid of the junk.
I'm willing to test (I'm on the Release update channel, with Windows 10
on Intel. Two mailboxes, unified.

I have a multi-screen Lubuntu setup, which I am configuring using
xrandr. I have tried to the best of my ability to place the
taskbar/program menu/etc on the middle screen, which I have configured
as the primary monitor, but instead it is always placed

This bug is dependent on screen size. In my situation, my laptop
display is 1366 x 768. However, on monitors with higher resolution the
problem is not evident.

When one clicks on the Files, Edit, View, Insert, etc the popup window
is positions to the top of the desktop. In addition the spacing between
the popup items is much larger than 6.1
