yes that is correct. i had no issues with 14.04. i gave up though, i switched to a clean 15.10 and am having no issues now. i tried a clean 15.04 first but ran into a few issues installing/booting and decided if i was going to experience bugs they might as well benefit the alpha development.

well that was fun. with the 4.1 kernel and the proprietary drivers i was trapped in cli. much fun there. i disabled the proprietary drivers, including the amd microcode that i forgot i enabled. after which is still had no luck with the 4.1 kernel. i did however boot just fine with the 3.13
