I get this in 15.04 as well, based on the description. When I close the
lid, the external monitor initially turns off and then it turns straight
back on again as the primary monitor, exactly as if I had turned off the
internal monitor via the screen settings GUI instead of closing the lid.

question never goes into standby. If I increase the housekeeping to 24

I just suspended a second time before restoring one of the windows to
the primary workspace, and when I resumed it was neither on the primary
nor the secondary workspace. I disabled workspaces and it reappeared on
the primary one. My guess is that unity restored the window to its

When I suspend and resume my latop, my windows, which were originally
all in one workspace, are restored to different workspaces (apparently
at random).
For windows not in the current workspace after resume, the unity
launcher indicates that they are running, but clicking on

1. Connect to a SFTP or Samba share via nautilus.
2. Change networks, eg by suspending and resuming in a different
location or by manually forcing a change to a network. For instance, I
change from a 10.1.1.x network to a 192.168.10.x network and back again.
Thanks, version 6.1.7+dfsg-1ubuntu1 fixes it for me, too.
Out of interest, why are we still on 6.1.7 when upstream is at 6.2.4?

Re 3.18-rc3, I take it back - I was looking at an old log entry. I did
experience a complete system freeze that required a hard reset, but I
don't think it managed to record the error that caused it in the syslog.

Ok, so I found that this has already been reported upstream to mysql,
see: http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=74147
That bug says it's an incompatibility with libglib 2.42. There's a patch
at http://bugs.mysql.com/file.php?id=21874bug_id=74147 that fixes the
problem.

You have to be careful to not make the frame bigger than the table, or
