Yeah, seems to be fixed in your test build. At least, the image linked
above does not let X freeze, and no such lines in dmesg. Also I was able
to view several more huge pictures in Firefox which would previously
result in a freezing X. Thanks for the fix!

tried it with a few other programs from KDE and even got it too with

I got the same problem yesterday with umbrello. Same behaviour here, if
you close while the windows is maximized, there is no window decoration
on next start and window covers the whole screen.
