Public bug reported: Seemingly randomly, the text on my screen (in firefox or any other program) will turn the same color as its background. This renders the programs affected useless because they're unreadable. However, after a little while, the text will return to its proper color. I am using

My X120E still hasn't crashed since installing rtl8192ce-dkms_2.6.0005.1116.2010-1ubuntu1~maverick2. Perhaps this has something to do with first trying to install the driver from source:

I'm running 11.04 on an X120E. It seemed like the wireless driver was causing random crashes (I'm using a wireless N home network). I tried installing the driver from the realtek website. This caused Ubuntu to consistently crash on startup. So I uninstalled the driver and replaced it with the
