I cannot reproduce this error on nautilus 2.30.0 ubuntu lucid beta.
1. Opened my trash folder via the icon at the bottom right
2. there were 19 items in the folder, I clicked 'empty trash' near the top right
3. '0 items'

Emptying trash does not update file count
I cannot reproduce this error. I have version 2.30.0 in lucid beta.
Perhaps having that version fixes the issue?

2. Click Import (this will bring up file browser)
3. browse to a folder with images in it
I find that image files are grayed out and cannot be clicked, and
therefore cannot be imported.

This is reproduced under an up-to-date 32 bit desktop lucid. I feel like
this bug was mentioned under a different ticket in #ubuntu-bugs, but I
can't find the bug that was mentioned.
